We’re making New Zealand safer from scams.

Founded by New Zealand banks in September 2024, GetVerified is bringing Confirmation of Payee to banks, businesses and the people of Aotearoa, alongside other initiatives designed to predict, prevent, and protect against fraud and scams.

We exist for impact – not profit – and our purpose is to help protect New Zealanders from financial scams.

We’ve lead the development of cross-industry anti-scam initiatives by partnering with tech providers to bring the best solutions to New Zealand. As well as delivering these technical solutions, we provide ongoing governance to ensure they remain compliant, data-safe, and fit for purpose – operated, maintained and enhanced in an environment where the threat of scams is constantly evolving.

We work alongside banks, government, businesses, and communities to identify and prioritise anti-scam solutions. Our role is to bring people together, challenge the status quo, and deliver solutions to help make New Zealand’s financial landscape, safer.
